...and we have plenty of great submissions. This year's comp will once again be a double-album length download, this time with even more great artists on board. Thanks to all who participated! We will be getting in touch with everyone on an individual basis soon.

In an effort to get more artists on board, the final deadline for the second IDE compilation will be extended to July 31.

An in-page audio player has been added to the page for IDE: Interface Vol. 1. Click on the arrow in the upper left corner of the player to copy the code & embed the player on your own site.

Blog posts and pages can now be tagged. When creating a new post, you will be able to add tags in a text field below the title. "Community" tagging is also possible, for blog posts, there is an inline text field, and for pages there is a block on the right. Tags are comma seperated, like at last.fm. You must be signed in to add tags (all users can tag).

I've created a page for IDE at ReverbNation- http://www.reverbnation.com/label/independentdarkelectronics - I'm really impressed with their operation so far, and it will make an easy way to get a bunch of our tracks in a single player on this site.

Now you can post links to IDE content to various services such as Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc.

...for the most part anyway. There's still some work to be done, but Interface Vol. 1 has a page online again, and that's the most important thing. We are also still accepting submissions for vol. 2 (and donations of course). Now I need to get some rest, as I seem to have caught the flu.

Thanks for your patience while we restore IDE HQ to her former glory. :)
