About the artists:

Beatslaughter

http://www.beatslaughter.de/

Emerging from the obscure heritage of tracked electronic music Beatslaughter has transcended his home-grown roots to sonic realms rich in musical force. He is well regarded in the Renoise Scene for his polished work that doesn't fall neatly into tired genre boxes. The key unifying aspect of Beatslaughter's music is strong sensitivity for developing emotional drama that weaves into brilliant abstract narratives. These are experiences akin to film noir, with lush atmosphere and futuristic electronic detailing. He's the perfect post-millennial representative both his Berlin residency; and his connection to the global consciousness of the web- serving its insatiable hunger for musical drama that soars above the generic. Prepare for engaging immersion.

Cholostase

http://www.lastfm.de/music/Cholostase

The Cholostase project was founded 2004 and influenced and inspired by many different types of electronic music, such as Converter, Punch Inc., Chris Liebing, Mono No Aware and Velvet Acid Christ. Through the years of musical progression the project became more and more noisy with flaming and harsh sounds which are now typical for Cholostase´s style. The sound itself can be vary between complex beat structures and hard pumping basses. The live gigs were always performed with a self-created video-show and a light-poi-performance. Beyond the beats Cholostase understands the project as a political project to inform people about news and facts that are hard to get. Cholostase released his first album "Red World Order" at the beginning of 2008 and released a online bonus EP called "Noise against Tibet" a few months later.

Rapide Sherpa is not really a project. Rapide Sherpa is not really a musician. Rapide Sherpa is not really. But she really tries to.

Skin Contact

http://www.skincontact.com/

Formed in 1997, SC grew out of founder Kevin Breidenbach’s interest in both electronic music & computers. Early works were influenced heavily by the EBM & industrial dance music of the 90’s, also incorporating other electronic elements. Over time, other influences have crept in, including drum & bass, power/rhythmic noise, and IDM. Reviews have cited SC's music as being "meticulously sculpted", "expertly engineered", and "intelligent".
